Dear Critters,
The first time I visited the Philippines, I travelled alone to Anilao for a brilliant 10 day underwater photography workshop in 2012.
More recently, I returned to Puerto Galera with my darling Abe and our dive buddies Julie Bear and LP for all the diving we could handle.
While Google searches promised manta rays, whale sharks and hammerheads, these critters simply do not exist in PG, and the largest critter we encountered was turtle, closely followed by a medium sized grouper (us Aussies call them ‘gropers’, but that just doesn’t seem right now, does it?)
Still, I was thrilled to be able to return to the Philippines and hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took during these two trips.
Love and bubbles,
