Welcome to My Ocean!

Here’s where I will begin to keep my online logbook!

I have no good explanation for why I had a 12 year gap between my first dive on the Great Barrier Reef and my second dive at Hideaway Island, Vanuatu in 2010 when I became a certified Open Water diver.

Since then, I have dived most weekends, clocking up 247 dives (despite being landlocked for 10 months in 2010 and another 7 months in 2013 due to some serious health challenges).

Most recently, I did 31 dives in 8 days at Sabang Beach and Verde Island in Puerto Galera, the Philippines.

Please follow this blog and ‘Watch this Space!’ for dive reports as they happen.

  1. Thanks for the Like on my cowfish on supersecretthing. And if you’re like the critters a lot, you should go to Lembeh. Crazy critter land. I was there last October and saw amazing creatures large and (mostly) small.

    • Thanks supersecretthing! I’ve heard that about Lembeh 🙂 Have done quite a lot of muck and macro diving which I really enjoy, but next I think I need some BIG critters like mantas, whale sharks and great whites! That said, macro is awesome! I highly recommend Anilao in the Philippines – bliss! 🙂

  2. Hi PT,
